Welcome to B&B Ter Vesten

B&B Ter Vesten is a renovated former caretaker's home of a spinning mill / weaving mill. Comfort, spacious rooms, warm cosiness and a personal welcome give the visitors a direct-at-home feeling.
The property is located within the old city wall and right next to the fortresses.
The city center with the Main Square and the Menin Gate are at a 10 minutes walk. Just behind the B&B you can discover the fortresses around Ypres. The Lille Gate at the end of the street is a passage for further exploration of the region.          

Free carpark at 30 meters from the B&B. Charging station at 200 meters.
Cyclists & Motorcyclist are very welcome in the B&B !

For many of our visitors, B&B Ter Vesten serves as a starting point for further exploration of the region. Of course, many would like to know more about the scars that are still clearly visible in the landscape, almost 100 years after the great war. In the immediate vicinity of Ypres, there are also many monuments, cemeteries, museums and other places of interest.

• Every evening at 20:00 the Last Post is sounded under the Menin Gate in Ypres by buglers from the Last Post Association.
• The In Flanders Fields musueam situated in the Cloth Hall in Ieper.
• Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 in Zonnebeke.
• The St Martin's Cathedral next to the Cloth Hall in Ieper.
• St Georges Memorial Church in Ieper.
• The numerous cemeteries in the area: Ieper, Zonnebeke, Passendale, Poperinge, Kemmel, Houthulst, Langemark, Vladslo ....
